The Adventures of H&E Jones

I made some hamburger buns today and grilled up some hamburgers. I used the french bread recipe from my sister-in-law's blog here. Instead of shaping the dough as a loaf, I just shaped the dough into little buns and then cut a couple of slits in the top. Then I let them sit for 10-15 before I cut them in half, lightly buttered them, and grilled them next to the burgers. Delicious!

The family hikes Harney Peak
The hike was beautiful and only took us a few hours! It's in Custer State Park and on the peak you have a spectacular view of the park. There is also an old fire lookout from the CCC era that looks like a castle on the peak.

Lincoln and his "neigh's"
Lincoln sure loves horses. We walked on the street saw some of the neighbors horses, and Lincoln was in second heaven. We fed the horses and looked at them and giggled. Well, Lincoln did most of the giggling.

A Priesthood Conference Tradition
I'm not sure how or when it started, but my dad and I would always go eat chalupas after priesthood conference on Saturday nights. When I lived at college, I continued the tradition with the boys. Now that I live in South Dakota, Hannah's dad Terry was kind enough to visit the Bell with me. Someday when he's old enough, Lincoln and I will go grab chalupas at Taco Bell after priesthood conference :)

Dinner
I made dinner tonight all from scratch. I made pretzel rolls from the Our Best Bites blog as hamburger buns. I seasoned and hand smashed the patties. I also sliced up some fresh pineapple and grilled it. It was delicious!

Family Weekend
I graduated! Sort of... I have one semester left, but they don't have a ceremony in December. I feel close enough to finished that it still felt good. So my parents drove up to Provo to watch the ceremony and afterwards treated Hannah and me to a delicious dinner at La Jolla Groves in the Riverwoods. It was absolutely, mouth-wateringly gorgeous food.
